He shredded the electric bass on almost every track on Flying Lotus' recent opus Cosmogramma (even singing on one), as well as joining Mr. Ellison onstage at Low End Theory that one time; he's even jammed on a few Erykah Badu albums...and now he's got a solo record, The Golden Age of Apocalypse, coming out via FlyLo's Brainfeeder label, which the soaring flower himself had a hand in producing.

Make sure to cop this album when it drops on August 30th – as a lover of both old-school jazz and all the Brainfeeder/Low End electronic-future-beat-shit, I can safely say that this is shaping up to be a game-changer.
